Hidden Talent

Well Carson has been hard at work the last few weekends...

We put our heads together and came up with a solution to our TV viewing/power problem!

Not too long ago Carson purchased his center channel speaker for the great room. It does not fit in the media console for its size alone, but we also have too much other stuff to even try! So Carson sat it right in front of the TV. As you can see blow it ever so slightly blocked the bottom of the TV but also made it difficult for using the remote to turn on the TV. So we came up with an idea!

We agreed on a solution, but in order to make it happen we had to make a few stops 1. to Sears for the tools!

2. to Lowes and Home Depot for the appropriate lumber and supplies. 3. We had to call on Carson's Grandfather for a "professional" opinion for our stain. 4. We had to locate who sold that particular stain then go to ACE Hardware to purchase!

Carson put the piece together faster than I could take a picture (I was to busy trying to figure out how it was going to turn out I forgot to annoy him with pics!). Carson applies the second coat of stain!

And the finished product is AWESOME!! I think Carson did a wonderful job!!
