We are still around!!!

I apologize to those of you who may have been checking this for a while now with no updates... We really have not had too many exciting things going on!!!!
I guess since the last time I blogged, I quit my job, we went to Knoxville, we went to the beach, and we had a really nice dinner out for free!!!

The job was just not working out for me. I did not get along very well with some of my co-workers. The Regional Manager had one idea of what she wanted out of the position, but the local supervisor had a different idea which caused conflict for me. Between the negativity and being told that I was not doing things right or fast enough, I decided it was just not the place for me!!!

We went to Knoxville the week of Memorial Day to visit friends and family (mostly the Fischer's). We had a great time catching up with several people that we rarely ever get to see!!! I got to do more visits around Knoxville as Carson worked remotely so he did not have to use vacation days!!!!! (sorry I left my camera in the car the whole week!)

We left Knoxville to travel to North Carolina. We got to spend the night with my sister and her husband on our way and see their beautiful home!!! We spent a day in the outskirts of Raleigh, as that is a possible place we could end up at in a couple years! Then we drove to Myrtle Beach for the Baird family vacation! I only have a few pics from the beach, between dad and my sister-in-law there were plenty of pics taken, I am just waiting to receive copies!

Right before we left for our two week Knoxville/Beach trip Carson was rewarded at work for all his efforts on a project. They suggested he take me out for a nice dinner on the company!!!!!

This past Wednesday we went to Fogo De Chao (http://www.fogodechao.com/).
It is a Brazillian Steakhouse where they serve all the meat on large skewers and it was wonderful!!!
Congrats to Carson ... all his hard work is definitely paying off!!!
(I meant to take my camera, especially since we were all dressed up, but I forgot and Carson did not remind me until we were already on the road!!!)

As for me, well I have completed training for a summer job. Beginning on Monday, I will be working with two different preschool camps for the next 6 weeks. Maybe it will lead to another job!!!! We'll see!
